Since establishing a partnership with Air Liquide Turbo (formerly ACD expanders; "ALT" below) in 2022, Domex-E, with its solid engineering design and reliable package delivery, has become a qualified skid supplier to ALT USA. Over the years it has not only supplied complete ALT expander packages to the Chinese market but has also become the skid-packaging plant for ALT USA's global orders, working with ALT to standardize the expander range and supplying auxiliary equipment and skids.
The new year has brought good news. Domex-E recently completed shipment of the expanders it packaged for ALT's Germany project. ALT USA commissioned Domex-E to supply the auxiliary equipment and complete skid packaging, delivering six THC units and two DTC units in total. The equipment will serve an electronic-gas air separation system supporting Europe's high-end chip industry, providing core equipment for the operations of a leading global semiconductor company.
Efficient coordination, every detail in sync
The project started in early 2025. Because electronic-gas projects have tight schedules, demanding supply requirements and strict compliance standards, Domex-E and ALT agreed from the outset that the equipment had to be delivered on time, to quality and in full, strictly following the project milestones.
During execution, distance and the time difference were the first barriers to communication. To keep information in sync in real time, the Domex-E and ALT project teams set up an efficient communication system combining email, phone and video conferencing, and kept in close, regular contact with the ALT USA team. Video calls at seven in the morning and transatlantic calls late at night became routine. From real-time updates on production progress to refining technical details and responding quickly to unexpected issues, the two sides cleared away communication obstacles through highly efficient coordination.
In the final push, facing a tight schedule and several overlapping projects, the project team pulled together from design to manufacturing, adjusting work in China at any time to match the material progress of the main units imported from the US. While keeping to the schedule, every step was completed strictly to quality standards, and the equipment passed the customer's pre-shipment acceptance and authoritative third-party certification at the first attempt.
Compliant design, a solid foundation
CE marking is the key passport to the European and American markets. Domex-E built compliant design into the entire project, strictly following the EU CE/PED standards and related regulations. From the selection of core materials and the purchase of key components to control of the overall manufacturing process, every step was strictly compliant and fully controlled. All of the equipment has passed third-party CE certification, and every indicator meets EU regulations and the customer's technical requirements, laying a solid foundation for the units' stable operation in the electronic-gas air separation system.
Moving forward together: 1 + 1 > 2
This successful delivery is not only an important breakthrough in the cooperation between Domex-E and ALT but also once again demonstrates Domex-E's engineering execution and technical expertise in the turbomachinery industry. The successful delivery of the Germany project will be a new starting point for deepening the partnership. Going forward, Domex-E will continue to work with ALT to empower high-end manufacturing worldwide and create shared success with its partners.
Over the years, in its cooperation with strategic partners such as ALT and Siemens Energy, Domex-E has always followed the "1 + 1 > 2" philosophy: focusing on customers' core needs and, through complementary and shared resources and efficient coordination, providing customers with better product solutions and service.
